Laurent Carlier has joined the Ernest team as a part-time Associate Partner. Laurent is an experienced CFO with a strong business focus. He has a strong interest in innovation, investment decisions, financing and Sustainability.
He enjoys helping organizations to achieve their strategic objectives through a strong financing approach and accompanying them in their ESG journey.
He is also currently CFO of Uplace, a real estate developer focusing on integrated-in-the city and sustainable residential projects and the flagship project Broeklin, a 150 000 m² innovative ‘circular makers market district’.
He was for 15 years CFO of Befimmo, a Euronext-listed Belgian Real Estate Investment Trust (SIR/GVV) operating office buildings, coworking spaces and meeting centers (portfolio value of 3 billion EUR).
Before that, he gained experience in finance functions in various industries (services with Sodexo, pharmaceuticals with Sanofi and consumer goods with Unilever).
Laurent is also a trainer in Controlling & Valuation of companies.
