João joined Ernest Partners as a Junior Analyst in March 2022. Although having a background in the biomedical engineering field with a BSc in Prosthetics and Orthotics, he has always been driven by the world of Finance and started his career in a Financial Auditing firm in Portugal.
Most of his experience as an Auditor was focused on working alongside Banks in both Portugal and Angola. There, he was keen on improving auditing and implementation frameworks for International Financial Reporting Standards.
